DAY 3,4,5,6,7… Hillsong Conference!

Have you tried having down times that you can’t find any motivation to do what you really have to do? And by do, I mean write… Well, if you’ve been reading my posts, you’re well aware that I haven’t finished my Sydney ‘sequel’ just yet…

Basically, Day 3 was a day intended for shopping and catching up with my friend, Jenn. We spent the entire day at DFO Homebush and had dinner at Holy Basil. I won’t bore you the details of what we bought and ate that day. All that matters is I had the greatest time spending it with her.

DAY 4,5,6,7,8…9….10….

Well, what do we have here?

IT’S CONFERENCE WEEK!

Every year, Hillsong hosts one of the largest Christian conferences in the world. More than 25,000 people attend the conference with more or less 5,000 volunteers. This year, I was one of the 25,000 people who attended!

This is THE MAIN reason why I went to Sydney.

It’s been on my bucket list for so long! I finally had the chance and I was able to join! The entire conference week was super amazing – being able to attend Sunday services at THE Hillsong Campus and join the other delegates at Qudos Bank Arena.

You can’t imagine how excited I was. I grew up listening to their songs, learning, memorizing and singing them. It was such an awesome experience being able to see all of the people behind Hillsong in real life and even more bringing and learning something from the conference. All the speakers were amazing and definitely gifted in their own ways.

I may not be able to write everything that happened during the 4 days of the conference but I can assure you that it was worth everything I’ve done and prepared just to get to attend the event. Each conference day is different. Your brain can go into overdrive but your spirit will be full, from the morning and evening sessions to the intermissions to the masterclasses, and other mini-sessions and meetings… It’s overwhelming!

The conference will help you KNOW your purpose and ENCOURAGE you to MAKE A MOVE, INFLUENCE, and MAKE JESUS KNOWN in your life. The outcome may not be instant and you are not forced to know your calling right away but this conference will help you realize things about yourself, things you were so stubborn to admit, and you will be reconciled with yourself by allowing God to move in your life.

LOOK. AT. THAT. More than 25,000 people gather every year for this event! Every day we get to sit at different sections of the arena. Sounds fair to me.
